Ingredients

Pre-Set Oven to 350 degrees F.
4 pieces of short ribs of Beef (approx. 10 to 12oz. each)
VALERIE'S STEAK N' CHOP SEASONING
All Purpose Flour
3 tbsp. Canola Oil
2 Ribs of Celery
2 Carrots
1 med. Onion
1 Dutch Oven (pot)
1 Baking dish
1/2 to 1 cup of water depending if you are making gravy from the juices
aluminum foil
1 Platter - kept warm

Cooking Instructions

Trim all excess fat off of the Short ribs,
Shake VALERIE'S STEAK N' CHOP SEASONING on Short ribs,
Take all purpose flour and sprinkle VALERIE'S STEAK N' CHOP SEASONING and mix with flour,
Put canola oil in bottom of Dutch Oven place heat on high,
Pat ribs in seasoned flour - shake excess flour off of ribs,
In Dutch Oven, brown ribs in hot oil,
Remove from oil and place on platter,
Peel carrots and celery and cut diagonally,
Slice onions,
Take carrots, celery and onions and saute in remaining oil,
Remove excess oil and add your water, stir around with the vegetables and scrape off all the goodness from the bottom of the pot.
Pour vegetables and juices from bottom of the pot into a baking dish.
Then place your short ribs of beef amongst the vegetables, cover baking dish tightly with aluminum foil.
Place in pre heated oven 350degrees. and cook until tender.
Approximately 2-2-1/2 hrs.
Serve with your favourite gravy or sauce.
